The IBIM Facilitator Community
What the community is
Supporting children to believe in themselves, recognise new possibilities and begin making choices about the direction of their own lives can be incredibly rewarding work. But it can also bring questions, new ideas and moments when it helps to have other people alongside you.
The IBIM Facilitator Community is a live monthly online gathering designed to bring together people who are interested in helping children discover the ideas and principles at the heart of 'I Believe in Me!'
It is a place to stay connected, encouraged and inspired; to share experiences and ideas, ask questions, celebrate what is working and learn from one another as we explore different ways of bringing IBIM to children.
The community is open to those already using IBIM with children, those who have completed or are undertaking IBIM training in different ways (including the IBIM Pathway Training), and those who simply feel drawn to the work and would like to learn more.
Together, we explore how we can help more children discover their own inner compass, recognise new possibilities and grow in confidence in themselves and the choices they can make.
What's included
Each month we gather online to:
- reconnect with the spirit and purpose of IBIM
- share experiences, ideas and discoveries from working with children
- talk through questions or challenges that have arisen
- explore different ways of using the material, activities and IBIM tools
- celebrate ripple moments and courageous first steps
- learn from what other facilitators are trying in different settings and countries
- build confidence in adapting IBIM while remaining true to its principles
- explore practical ways of introducing IBIM within schools, organisations and communities
- collaborate, inspire one another and leave encouraged for the month ahead
Between gatherings you'll also receive:
- optional WhatsApp connection
- recordings of the monthly gatherings
- gentle encouragement emails
- additional ideas and resources as they develop
The intention isn't to overwhelm people with more training or constant content. It's to create a steady rhythm of connection, encouragement and collaboration - somewhere you can return to each month as your own IBIM journey develops.
Two communities - one membership
Your membership also gives you access to the Well-Traveled Soul Facilitator Community at no additional cost.
The two communities meet on different weeks, and you are very welcome to attend either or both.
Although one focuses primarily on supporting children and the other on supporting adults through life's changing and challenging chapters, there is a great deal we can learn from one another.
Sometimes the ideas, conversations and encouragement we need come from unexpected places.
We'd love you to join us
Whether you're already bringing IBIM to children, preparing to get started, or simply curious about the work and wanting to learn more, we'd love to have you as part of the community.
This is a place where we can learn together, encourage one another, share what we're discovering and help more children experience the confidence, possibility and belief at the heart of I Believe in Me.
Founding membership is available at three contribution levels:
A 'supported' place is $10/month - for people who would genuinely benefit from a lower-cost option at this stage in life*
A 'standard' place is $20/month - this is the standard contribution to support the community to continue and grow
A 'pay it forward' place is $30/month - for those who would like to help make supported places possible for others
All options provide the same access and participation. You are invited to choose the level that feels both supportive and sustainable for you. Cancel anytime.
* If finances are the only reason you would be unable to remain part of the community, please reach out privately to kimberley@casabocommunity.com. We never want someone to lose meaningful support, encouragement or connection simply because life has become financially difficult.
